Sometimes an emergency at home or sickness may cause you to
have to cancel your cruise vacation. There is always the chance that you might
lose your personal belongings or become ill while traveling. Of course, we hope
this doesn’t happen to you--such incidents can be emotionally taxing and
financially costly. For that reason, Viking River cruises suggests a travel
protection plan offered and administered by Trip Mate Insurance Agency, Inc.,
which is available with all Viking River Cruises arrangements.
This travel protection plan covers your vacation investment,
your belongings, and most importantly, you. This plan covers you even if you
must cancel or interrupt your trip due to a pre-existing medical condition if
you purchase the plan no later than seven days after your initial
deposit/payment for your trip and are not disabled from travel at the time you
pay your premium.
