Beagle Channel

To see discounted cruises that visit or depart from this port, use the Find a Bargain box on the left.

The Beagle Channel is a strait in extreme southern South America that separates islands of the Tierra del Fuego Archipelago. This channel is one of the three navigable passages around South America between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. The channel was named for the "Beagle," a British ship that Charles Darwin used to explore the area. Cruising the channel provides opportunities to view extraordinary scenery, and you might even catch a glimpse of some sea lions basking in the sun along the shore.
