Hood River, OR

This town is a base for the Mount Hood Railroad, which offers scenic excursions through some of Oregon's prettiest country, which also happens to be the state's largest fruit-growing district. In spring, you'll see a profusion of fruit blossoms, while in summer there's lush foliage, ripening fruit and deep blue skies. Fall brings spectacular foliage in hues of yellow, russet, orange and red.
