Kake, AK

The world's tallest totem pole - 132 feet high - stands on a bluff above the seldom-visited Tlingit village of Kake. The totem pole has become symbolic of Alaska the world over. Be welcomed to the town with a performance by the Keex' Kwaan Dancers, wearing their traditional costumes. Visit the Kake Fisheries Plant and the Gunnuk Creek salmon hatchery.
