Kawau Island, New Zealand

Sir George Grey, the former governor of New Zealand, bought this island for his private estate in 1862. Now known as "Mansion House," the estate has become a major tourist attraction. Don't be surprised to see wildlife wandering around this exotic island, as it is home to peacocks, wallabies and kookaburras.
