Kulusuk Island is located on the southeastern shore of Greenland and is covered in ice most of the year. The coast is primarily untouched by human development, so it remains pristine to this day. This icy paradise offers views of Qalorujoorneq, the highest mountain on the island. Even the developed areas of Kulusuk Island are dotted with small towns and the airport town holds only 250 residents. Visitors will find no shortage of kayaking, guided tours, traditional East Greenlandic drum dancing, and lectures in the renovated church building.
