Mt. McKinley, AK

Mt. McKinley is located in the Denali National Park and Preserve in Alaska. It is the highest mountain peak in the United States, with a summit elevation of approximately 20,320 feet. The mountain actually has a larger rise and bulk than Mt. Everest, but the summit of Everest is higher because it is situated on the Tibetan Plateau. Visitors to the park should take the time to view one of the five glaciers that flow off the slopes of the mountain.
