Philadelphia, PA

For discounted cruises that depart from Philadelphia, PA, click .

Philadelphia means "the city of brotherly love" in Greek, and its diverse population has been fulfilling this motto since the city was founded by the Dutch centuries ago. The sixth largest city in the U.S., Philadelphia was once the home to the ideas and events that began the American Revolution, and served as the nation's first capital in the 1790's. There are numerous historical sites, museums, and galleries. Don't forget to try its signature food: the Philly cheesesteak. Cruises from Philadelphia depart seasonally. In October, passengers can cruise to Canada and New England during the height of the colorful fall foliage season. Bermuda cruises from Philadelphia are offered in late summer and early fall. P>Philadelphia is within a three-hour drive of Washington, DC, and within two hours of New York, NY; Baltimore, MD; and Atlantic City, NJ. Amtrak trains serve Philadelphia's 30th Street Station.
