Prickly Pear Island, British Virgin Islands

Prickly Pear Island is a National Park located in the North Sound, just east of Virgin Gorda. Vixen Point, a famous white-sand beach on Prickly Pear Island, has calm waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Visitors should stop by the Sand Box Restaurant and Beach Bar to try some grilled seafood, homemade burgers, conch fritters, or the house specialty, Lucy’s Luscious Lobster Salad. Those looking for more secluded beaches should follow the hiking trail from Vixen Point to the north shore of the island.
