One of Royal Caribbean’s Voyager-class ships, the Mariner of the Seas is a spacious, amenity-packed ocean-going resort. Adventure Ocean provides hours of enjoyment to kids ages 3 to 17, including two teen-only areas, Living Room and Fuel Dance Club. The Royal Promenade, a “street” that is four decks high and stretches longer than a football field, is lined with shops, eateries and bars. Dining venues include a three-tiered dining room, the Windjammer Café and Johnny Rockets ’50s-style diner, as well as two reservations-only restaurants, Portofino and Chops Grille. A number of bars, such as Vintages wine bar and Boleros Latin-themed lounge, are popular evening hangouts, while the Casino is a flurry of excitement as guests try their hand at poker, blackjack and roulette. Broadway-style musical productions are held in the Savoy Theater. All staterooms feature sitting area, vanity area and private bathroom.
