The Mediterranean is home to an unsurpassed culinary tradition of using the freshest local ingredients cooked in a simple but delicious and healthy style that has inspired the three restaurants of the Aegean Odyssey. Dining is available for lunch and dinner in The Marco Polo*, with a full waiter service, casual country-club elegance and Mediterranean influenced food. The Terrace Cafe is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and features a combination of indoor and outdoor seating, replicating the charm and ambiance of a seaside trattoria. Tapas on the Terrace offers an informal yet sophisticated atmosphere for dinner, and afternoon tea is served in the Observation Lounge on days spent at sea. You may choose to order a continental breakfast through room service, to be enjoyed in the comfort of your cabin, and late night snacks are available in the Lido and Rendezvous bars. There is also a limited room service menu available throughout the day from noon to midnight, except on embarkation/ disembarkation days.

* Lunch in The Marco Polo is available on days at sea, but not when the ship operates a full-day excursion.

Main Dining Room Policies: Dining arrangements on the Aegean Odyssey are “Open Seating,” meaning there are no pre-assigned tables or separate sittings. All dining hours are arranged to suit the ship’s time in port and the shore excursion programs.

Dress Code: Shorts are common for men and women in the daytime and are acceptable in the Terrace Cafe for breakfast and lunch. The more formal Marco Polo dining room requires at least long pants and collared shirts for men (a jacket is suggested, but not required) and skirts or dressy slacks for women. Jackets and ties are not required for men, nor is there a formal night. Many passengers do prefer to wear dressier clothes in the evening. The daily bulletin does not include an evening dress code suggestion.

Beverage Policy: A choice of two wines, beer and soft drinks is included with dinners. Otherwise, all beverages and cocktails are sold at lunch and at the bars, in the Charleston Lounge and on the Lido Deck near the pool. Coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day on the Lido Deck.

Special Requests: The Aegean Odyssey can meet most general requests such as those for weight, cholesterol, dairy-free, vegetarian and heart-healthy diets. Please indicate any requests at time of booking. Guests with highly restrictive food allergies should make themselves known to the Maitre D’ when onboard. While all due care is taken in meeting guests’ preference, it is still the guests’ responsibility to exercise control, just as they would in their home environment.
