Expedition Plan
Trip Cancellation Coverage Up to 100% of trip cost ($100,000 max.)
Provides reimbursement for prepaid, non-refundable expenses if you must cancel your trip due to a covered reason.
Trip Interruption Coverage Up to 100% of trip cost ($100,000 max.)
Provides reimbursement for the unused, non-refundable portion of your trip and additional transportation costs to return home due to a covered reason.
Emergency Medical/Dental Coverage $50,000 ($750 Dental Coverage max.)
Reimbursement for the cost of treatment associated with a covered medical or dental emergency incurred while traveling. A deductible may apply. Dental sublimit applies.
Emergency Transportation Coverage $250,000
Provides medically necessary transportation to the nearest hospital or appropriate facility.
Travel Delay Coverage $1,000 (Delay max: $300 with receipts; $100 without receipts) - Minimum Required Delay - 5 hours
Provides reimbursement for certain eligible expenses due to a covered travel delay.
Baggage Loss Coverage $3,000 ($750 High Value Item  max.)
Provides reimbursement if your baggage is lost, damaged or stolen while you are traveling.
Baggage Delay Coverage $1,000 ($100 no receipts max.) - Minimum Required Delay - 12 hours
Your baggage is delayed by a common carrier while on your trip for period specified in your plan documents.

Pre-Existing Medical Condition Exclusion Waiver Available
A pre-existing medical condition is an injury, illness or medical condition that exhibited symptoms or was treated on, or within the 120 days prior to, the purchase date of your plan. Your plan includes a waiver of the exclusion for pre-existing medical conditions if you meet the requirements listed in your plan (See Plan Details below); otherwise, the exclusion for pre-existing medical conditions will apply. Maximum coverage for pre-existing medical conditions is limited to the trip cancellation or trip interruption coverage limit (as applicable), not to exceed $50,000.

Minimum amount of Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption coverage is $300.

Important Fraud Warnings

Alabama, Maryland, New Mexico, Ohio:  Any person who knowingly or with intent to defraud an insurer presents a false or fraudulent claim for payment of a loss or knowingly includes false information in an application for insurance, is guilty of a crime and may be subject to criminal penalties and fines.
 
District of Columbia: WARNING:  It is a crime to provide false or misleading information to an insurer for the purpose of defrauding the insurer or any other person.  Penalties include imprisonment and/or fines.  In addition, an insurer may deny insurance benefits if false information materially related to a claim was provided by the applicant.
 
Florida: Any person who knowingly and with intent to injure, defraud, or deceive any insurer files a statement of claim or an application containing any false, incomplete, or misleading information is guilty of a felony of the third degree.
 
Kentucky: Any person who knowingly and with intent to defraud any insurance company or other person files an application for insurance containing any materially false information or conceals, for the purpose of misleading, information concerning any fact material thereto commits a fraudulent insurance act, which is a crime.
 
Louisiana, Rhode Island, West Virginia:  Any person who knowingly presents a false or fraudulent claim for payment for a loss or benefit or knowingly presents false information in an application for insurance is guilty of a crime and may be subject to fines and confinement in prison.
 
Maine, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington:  It is a crime to knowingly provide false, incomplete or misleading information to an insurance company for the purposes of defrauding the company.  Penalties may include imprisonment, fines or a denial of insurance benefits.
 
New Jersey: Any person who includes any false or misleading information on an application for an insurance policy is subject to criminal and civil penalties.
 
New York: Any person who knowingly and with intent to defraud any insurance company or other person files an application for insurance or statement of claim containing any materially false information, or conceals for the purpose of misleading, information concerning any fact material thereto, commits a fraudulent insurance act, which is a crime, and shall also be subject to a civil penalty not to exceed five thousand dollars and the stated value of the claim for each such violation.
 
Oklahoma: WARNING: Any person who knowingly, and with intent to injure, defraud or deceive any insurer, makes any claim for the proceeds of an insurance policy containing any false, incomplete or misleading information is guilty of a felony.
 
Oregon: Any person who knowingly and willfully with intent to injure or defraud any insurance company presents a claim for payment of a loss containing any materially false, incomplete, or misleading information may be guilty of insurance fraud and may be subject to criminal and/or civil penalties.
 
Pennsylvania: Any person who knowingly and with intent to defraud any insurance company or other person files an application for insurance or statement of claim containing any materially false information or conceals for the purpose of misleading, information concerning any fact material thereto commits a fraudulent insurance act, which is a crime and subjects such person to criminal and civil penalties.
