Known as the "City of the 1000 Islands," Brockville is located on the north shore of the Saint Lawrence River, midway between Toronto and Montreal. Visit the Brockville Railway Tunnel, the Aquatarium (an interactive museum about the ecology and history of the 1000 Islands region) or Fulford Place National Historic Site, a 20,000-square-foot Edwardian mansion built around 1900. The historic river village is also the launching point for underwater wreck driving on sunken ships discovered in the Saint Lawrence River.
