Cargados Bank of Mauritius is an archipelago made up of sand banks, coral reefs, and other small islands. Also known as Saint Brandon, the archipelago is inhabited by approximately 40 people. The majority of the area is covered in coconut palms, rich flora and fauna, and granulated coral sands along the beaches.
