The Conflict Islands are a group of 21 islands in Milne Bay that surround a blue lagoon. The islands are isolated and mostly uninhabited, and visitors will find many wildlife and marine species not found in other parts of the world. Panasesa, one of the islands that make up the atoll, houses a small eco-resort that is accessible by charter flights. The main attractions of the Conflict Islands are the beaches and water activities. Snorkeling, kayaking, and paddleboarding are popular activities, as well as canoe and glass bottom boat tours.
