Though Coco is only a small fishing village, visitors can be found covering the whole beach on weekends. Playa del Coco has white-grey sands and rests in a horseshoe-bay in the Papagayo region. Both locals and travelers frequent this destination for its fun atmosphere and ongoing fiesta feel.
