Senzaki is a small town that offers plenty of sights. It is most well known as being the birthplace of a famous poet named Misuzu Kaneko. There is a memorial museum in the city completely dedicated to her legacy. Omijima Island is just a short boat ride away and features rock sculptures and tunnels shaped by ocean waves. The Senzaki Kitchen Market also features local seafood fresh from the wharf.
