Located at the confluence of the Inn, Ilz and Danube rivers, Passau is one of Bavaria's oldest and most beautiful cities. Visit the Veste Oberhaus, a medieval fortress built in 1219, or St. Stephen's Cathedral, which houses the world's largest church organ. Concerts are given at noon on weekdays from May to October. The city's Glass Museum boasts the world's largest collection of Bohemian glass, with 30,000 items on display.
