P&O provides a variety of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. At breakfast, choose from early-riser coffee and pastries, complimentary continental breakfast room service, full breakfast in the main dining room or buffet breakfast. Extensive lunch choices are available, and P&O offers an afternoon tea with pastries. Enjoy traditional cruise ship dining featuring 5-course meals for dinner, or visit one of the alternative dining venues. Main Dining Room Policies: P&O guests are assigned to one of two seatings in the main dining room for their evening meal, early or late. The early and late seating times can vary by ship or itinerary, but are usually at around 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., respectively. With the exception of two formal nights on most voyages, the dress code is "smart casual." Shorts, t-shirts and swim wear are never permitted in the main dining room. Beverage Policy: All beverages except tea, coffee and water are at an additional cost. Juice is included with breakfast. Special Requests: P&O will make every effort to accommodate special dietary requirements and special meals can be requested at the time of booking or at the Purser’s Desk onboard.
