From 7am to 7pm, discover Naples (Capri), Italy. Naples is one of the world's greatest cultural centers, filled with extraordinary works of art and architecture in the classical Greek and Roman styles. Several interesting tours are available of the city itself and the fascinating places that lie just outside of Naples. While you're in the area, you'll want to visit Pompeii, one of the most famous excavation sites in the world. Take a short boat trip to the entrancing Isle of Capri, and explore Capri Town. Or, take a ride up the Amalfi Coast. Walk around and spend an afternoon getting to know the picturesque city of Naples.
Wednesday, May 29th
From 7am to 7pm, explore Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy. In the Eternal City of Rome, Italy you can explore some of the world's most famous churches, monuments and fountains: the Colosseum, the Sistine Chapel, Vatican City, the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain (toss a coin in the fountain to ensure your return). Sip cappuccino at a cafe in a piazza or window-shop among the high-fashion boutiques of Via Condotti. Rome is served by the port city of Civitavecchia, located approximately 50 miles away.
Thursday, May 30th
From 7am to 7pm, experience Florence / Pisa (Livorno), Italy. From the port city of Livorno, Italy, the riches of this remarkable region are revealed. A trip to Florence, with a stop at the leaning Tower of Pisa en route, provides some unforgettable experiences, including the Piazza del Duomo with its grand cathedral. Florence is home to the fascinating art treasures of the Italian Renaissance -- works by Botticelli, Da Vinci and Michelangelo. A highlight is a visit to the Accademia Gallery, which houses Michelangelo's famous statue of David.
Friday, May 31st
From 10am to 7pm, visit Marseille, France. Marseille is cosmopolitan and vibrant, with its picturesque old port, medieval-village-style neighborhoods, downtown shopping and world renowned seafood. One can climb to 162 meters above sea level to visit the church of the patron saint of sailors, Notre Dame de La Garde. Or admire the cliffs that inspired Cezanne's "Estaque." Or visit nearby Treille to pay homage to the writer Marcel Pagnol. Marseilles' picturesque coastline beckons with beautiful beaches and opportunities for hiking, rock climbing, swimming and snorkeling
Saturday, June 1st
From 1pm to 8pm, enjoy Palma de Mallorca. Approximately 60 miles off the coast of Spain, Mallorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands, with some 310 miles of sparkling coastline. Because of its ideal climate and strategic location, the island has attracted a variety of outsiders over the years, enriching the island with Roman, Arab and European influences. Passengers sailing into port will get an amazing view of the dramatic Gothic cathedral La Seu, set just above the harbor, and the hilltop Bellver Castle. Most excursions visit both of these sites as well as the Spanish Pueblo and the island's famous white-sand beaches. In valleys all along the coast, little fishing villages sit tucked away, with narrow winding lanes leading past cozy stone cottages and old Moorish estates. Also enjoy the breathtaking view of the Tramuntana range soaring majestically into the sky and countryside tours highlighting Valledemosa's monastery of La Cartuja.
