Sometimes it happens - an emergency at home or a sickness
causes people to cancel their vacation or interrupt their trip. We hope this
doesn’t happen to you, but if it does, what about the financial costs involved?
And what about losing your personal belongings or becoming ill while on your
trip? Protect your investment with the two part “Cruise West Complete” Travel
Protection Plan.
Part 1. A Travel Insurance Plan offered by Trip Mate
Insurance Agency, Inc. that covers you even if you must cancel or interrupt
your trip due to a pre-existing medical condition—if you purchase the insurance
no later than 7 days after your initial deposit/payment for your cruise and are
not disabled from travel at the time of your plan payment. Outlined below are
the major benefits of the plan. A “Description of coverage” brochure which
provides complete details of the plan, including conditions, exclusions and
limitations will be included with your travel documents and is also available
to you upon request, at any time prior to your purchase of the plan.
Part 2. The Cruise West Pre-Departure Cancellation
Waiver allows you to cancel or change your cruise arrangements up to 72 hours
before your scheduled cruise departure for ANY REASON NOT COVERED BY the travel
insurance plan provisions. When a cancellation is made during a penalty period,
your cancellation penalty will be refunded in Cruise West Travel Certificates,
with the balance of the refund made either in cash or credit card credit.
Please Note: The Cruise West
Pre-Departure Cancellation Waiver does not cover penalties associated with air
arrangements not provided by Cruise West or cancellations made in the 72 hour
period before your scheduled cruise departure. Cruise West Travel Certificates
are non-transferable, non-refundable, valid for one
year and may not be redeemed for cash.
