Manta, Ecuador

This port town was founded by the Spaniards in the early 16th century. View exhibits on Manta culture at the Municipal Museum, shop for wicker and Panama hats at the market at nearby Montecristi, fish for blue marlin in the Pacific, or relax on a golden beach.
