Safi is a charming city surrounded by a thriving industrial port. Perhaps one of the best places in Morrocoo to buy pottery of all shapes and patterns, Safi is a great city for people watching and window shopping. Also the site of many old ruins, a visit to Safi is not complete without a tour of the old Portuguese prison the Kechla, and the most photographed building in Safi, the Dar el Bahar castle.
