Anthem of the Seas joins Royal Caribbean’s fleet as the second ship in the innovative new Quantum class. To make Anthem of the Seas a truly special offering at sea, Royal Caribbean enlisted celebrity experts in the entertainment, design and fitness fields to help create an interior design plan and some of the exclusive entertainment options onboard. Anthem of the Seas and the Quantum class offer the first ever sky-diving at sea simulator with RipCord by iFly, allowing thrill-seeking guests to experience the rush of flying through the air from the safety of a machine on the ship. For a more relaxing feeling of flying, guests can rise 300 feet above the waves in the North Star, a capsule that provides a 360-degree view of the sea and the gorgeous destinations Anthem of the Seas visits. Inside Anthem of the Seas, there is plenty of fun to be had in Seaplex, the largest indoor active space at sea. Seaplex offers bumper cars, roller skating and even the opportunity to discover your skills as a trapeze artist in the circus school. After all of the excitement to be found onboard, guests can relax next to one of the pools, with a luxurious treatment at the Vitality Spa, or in one of Anthem’s newly designed staterooms, featuring the first virtual balconies at sea.
Royal Caribbean will automatically add a $12.00 USD gratuity ($14.25 USD for Suite guests) to each guest’s onboard SeaPass® account on a daily basis. Sailings departing on or after July 1, 2015: Suggested gratuity will be $12.95 per day, per guest ($15.95 per day, per guest for suite guests). 15% tip included on beverage orders.
