Royal Caribbean continues its tradition of innovation at sea with the introduction of the Quantum of the Seas. In addition to featuring the favorites Royal Caribbean is known for – the DreamWorks® Experience offering exclusive shows and character breakfasts, the 40-foot-long FlowRider® surf simulator, and the signature Rock Wall – within the 16 decks of Quantum of the Seas, Royal Caribbean introduces entertainment options that will soon become your family’s new favorites. Quantum of the Seas is the first ship to offer North StarSM, which gives guests a breathtaking 360-degree view from a jewel-like glass capsule 300 feet in the air. For an even more exhilarating experience, you can try the new RipCord by iFly®, the first skydiving simulator at sea.
If you prefer more traditional entertainment but still want an experience at sea that is unforgettable, the Quantum of the Seas also presents the first bumper car and roller skating offerings at sea. After an exciting day at sea or exploring an exotic port, you may want to unwind in the Vitality SpaSM and treat yourself to a signature treatment or the full-service salon. You may also return to your luxurious stateroom, which has been designed in a revolutionary new way to keep your family connected while ensuring that you have your own space to relax and recharge for your next adventure.
Royal Caribbean will automatically add a $12.00 USD gratuity ($14.25 USD for Suite guests) to each guest’s onboard SeaPass® account on a daily basis. Sailings departing on or after July 1, 2015: Suggested gratuity will be $12.95 per day, per guest ($15.95 per day, per guest for suite guests). 15% tip included on beverage orders.
