The soaring price of oil has caused virtually every cruise line to add
fuel surcharges to the price of their 2008 sailings. These surcharges are in addition
to the prices currently displayed on this site. Fuel surcharges
announced so far range from $5 to $12 per person, per day, which means
that a 7-night cruise for two will incur a surcharge of $70 to $168,
depending on the cruise line. The first sailing date eligible for the
fuel surcharge varies by line.
