Mississippi Queen

Unfortunately, the Mississippi Queen will be out of service until 2009. To search for the perfect cruise with Delta Queen (Majestic America), click here.

The Mississippi Queen is modeled after the palatial steamboats of the past and is outfitted in authentic turn-of-the-century decor. Above the Grand Staircase, look for the trompe l'oeil ceiling of cherubs frolicking in clouds. Victorian-style couches and overstuffed chairs in the Upper Paddlewheel Lounge make for a cozy place to relax and view the river. The Grand Saloon is a gathering place for onboard activities by day, and a showroom and ballroom at night. The Golden Antlers Bar is a cheerful lounge with game tables and floor-to-ceiling windows. Amenities include an exercise room, bathing pool, movie theater and library. Many of the staterooms, which are named after historic Civil War battles, river towns and old-fashioned riverboats, have antique furnishings.
