The MV Polar Star was originally built to navigate through ice-covered waters. In 2000, the vessel was converted to an Arctic expedition cruise ship. Accommodating only 100 guests, Polar Star creates an intimate cruising experience. Public rooms include one main dining room and bar, a spacious public lounge, a library, a lecture hall and a small gym. Every cabin, including six suites, has a window or porthole so passengers can enjoy the incredible views from the comfort of their own room. Sailing with the Polar Star allows guests to encounter the Arctic up close while maintaining a comfortable lifestyle onboard.
