Our promise to you
Your satisfaction is our priority.  We are pleased to provide you 15 days to review your plan.  During this period, if you're not satisfied for any reason, you may cancel your plan and receive a full refund of the plan price.  After this period, the plan price is nonrefundable.  Please note, no refund is available if the trip has started, a claim has been filed, or the policy has ended.  Cancellation rules may vary by plan and state.  See your plan for your plan's cancellation rules.

Insurance Benefits

Plan underwritten by Jefferson Insurance Company or BCS Insurance Company, depending on your plan and state of residence. Coverage is per person unless stated otherwise. For an exhaustive list of covered reasons, please refer to your specific policy documents after purchase.

Trip Cancellation Protection
  • Up to 100% of trip cost*
  • Provides reimbursement for prepaid, non-refundable expenses if you must cancel your trip due to a covered reason.
Example covered reasons:
  • Covered illness or injury of insured
  • Covered illness or injury of family member
  • Loss of employment
Trip Interruption Protection
  • Up to 100% of trip cost*
  • Provides reimbursement for the unused, non-refundable portion of your trip and additional transportation costs to return home due to a covered reason.
Example covered reasons:
  • Covered illness or injury of insured
  • Severe weather delay over 24 hours
  • Car accident en route to departure
Emergency Medical & Dental Protection
  • $75,000 ($750 Dental Coverage max.)
  • Reimbursement for the cost of treatment associated with a covered medical or dental emergency incurred while traveling. A deductible may apply.
  • Dental sublimit applies.
Example reimbursable expenses:
  • Illness causes you to have to pay to see a doctor
  • Sprained ankle requires you to pay for treatment
  • Lose a filling and need urgent dental treatment (Dental Coverage max applies)
Emergency Transportation Protection
  • $1,000,000
  • Provides medically necessary transportation to the nearest hospital or appropriate facility.
Example services include:
  • Emergency medical evacuation: Transporting you to the nearest appropriate facility
  • Medical repatriation: Getting you home after you receive care
  • Transport to bedside: Bringing a friend or family member to you
  • Return of dependents: Getting minors and dependents home
  • Repatriation of remains: Getting your remains home
Travel Delay Protection
  • $1,600 (Daily max.:$300 with receipts; $100 without receipts) - Minimum Required Delay - 5 hours
  • Provides reimbursement for certain eligible expenses due to a covered travel delay.

  • Meals
  • Accommodations
  • Transportation
Baggage Loss Protection
  • $3,000 ($750 High Value Item max.)
  • Provides reimbursement if your baggage is lost, damaged or stolen while you are traveling.
Example reimbursable expenses:
  • Car keys are stolen while sightseeing
  • Luggage wheel is broken during trip
  • Checked bag is lost and unrecoverable
Baggage Delay Protection
  • $600 ($100 no receipts max.) - Minimum Required Delay - 12 hours
  • Your baggage is delayed by a common carrier while on your trip for the period specified in your plan documents.
Example reimbursable expenses:
  • Toiletries and hygiene products
  • Spare clothing
  • Beauty and cosmetic supplies
Pre-existing Medical Condition Exclusion Waiver
Available

A pre-existing medical condition is an injury, illness or medical condition that exhibited symptoms or was treated on, or within the 120 days prior to, the purchase date of your plan. Your plan includes a waiver of the exclusion for pre-existing medical conditions if you meet the requirements listed in your plan (See Plan Details below); otherwise, the exclusion for pre-existing medical conditions will apply. Maximum coverage for pre-existing medical conditions is limited to the trip cancellation or trip interruption coverage limit (as applicable), not to exceed $50,000.
 
*“Trip cost” is equal to the price for travel expenses you are booking on our partner’s website at the time you purchase insurance. It does not include any trip expenses booked separately, gift cards, or merchandise, so the trip cost insured may not include the full cost of your planned travel. After you purchase, you may insure additional trip costs by modifying your plan at agentmaxonline.com/customer or calling us at 800-284-8300. Insuring additional trip costs requires additional premium. Minimum amount of Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption coverage purchasable under this plan is $300 per person. Maximum amount of Trip Cancellation coverage purchasable under this plan is $100,000 per person. Maximum amount of Trip Interruption coverage purchasable under this plan is $100,000 per person.

Plans are subject to terms, conditions and exclusions. Plan charge includes the price for insurance benefits and assistance services.
