Your Perfect Ceremony on Shore (Barbados)

You can choose to have your Barbados ceremony mid-way through your holiday when joining your ship in Antigua, giving you plenty of time to relax and prepare for the big day, and to celebrate after. Or you could have your ceremony on your last full day away, so there’s time to soak up the sun before tying the knot and flying home to celebrate with family and friends.

Flights for onshore ceremonies must arrive into Barbados on a Saturday. For Arvia arrivals into Antigua, flights can arrive on either Friday or Saturday

Celebrations and Receptions

The food on your wedding day should be something you savor as much as the day itself.  P&O’s dedicated and experienced team of inspiring executive chefs, galley chefs, bakers, pâtissiers, knowledgeable and attentive waiters - are all on hand to deliver a delicious day. And wine experts have selected and paired some of the world’s best wines with your dining choices. 
 
Your wedding party can sit together in one of the Freedom and Club restaurants. Dining from the main menu will be at no additional cost as it’s included in your holiday price. Please note buffets are only available for 11:00 am and 2:00 pm weddings depending on party size.

Ceremony buffet and canapés

If you’d prefer to keep your day more informal and have a party size of 8 or more, you can choose from one of the buffet menus to be served. Or, for something lighter, a range of delicious canapés can be served in the privacy of your function room or in one of the public bars.

Ceremony Dinner

For a party size of 12 or less, you might look to book a specialty restaurant like Sindhu or The Epicurean for dinner. Parties of more than 12 can head to one of the Freedom Dining restaurants.

Children's options are also available for all celebrations and receptions.

Wines and Champagne

The celebrations start here! And, luckily, P&O has one of the finest cellars afloat.  It's easy to find the perfect selection as P&O wines have been chosen to match their menus.  Your on-board ceremony coordinator is on hand to help you make the ideal choice for your day.
 
Wedding Cakes

One of the most symbolic moments – and major photo opportunities - of your wedding day is when you cut the cake. The skilled pastry chef can create your perfect one- or two-tier wedding cake in vanilla sponge, chocolate sponge or fruit.  It will be delicately and beautifully decorated with traditional white icing, topped with sugar flowers, giving it a contemporary and elegant look.
