This island is the largest of the five Babuyan Islands, located north of the Philippines. The vegetation is thick in many areas on the island which has allowed the fauna and flora to thrive. Endemic gecko, pigs and carabaos are all seen in the wild. Whale watching is another popular activity since this area is a breeding ground of humpback whales. There is also the Sibang Cove, which holds several ancient burial grounds. The National Museum holds many artifacts that were dug up from the Sibang Cove.
