Langanes, or "long peak", is a peninsula in northeast Iceland. It is situated between Þistilfjordur and Bakkafloi and is said to look like a goose head. Perfect for travelers who like to explore off the well worn path, Langanes offers views from the steep sea cliffs and many perfect spots for watching the birds when they come to nest in the spring.
