Filled with vast amount of wildlife, Masai Mara is a world-renowned reserve covered in miles of grassland. The Mara and Gumeti rivers are the main sources of water for the area and serve as crossing points for the masses of wildebeest who participate in the Great Migration in July. This large game reserve is also home to the Maasai people as well as the lion, cheetah, zebra, gazelle, and other animal groups that live there. There are many opportunities to go on a safari expedition to explore the land and possibly get an up-close view of the game. A balloon can take guests to the skies for an aerial view of the Mara as well.
