Ouistreham is a small French port that hosts fishing boats, leisure crafts, and a ferry-harbour. It is the port entrance for the city of Caen at the mouth of the Canal de Caen a la Mer. Ouistreham has been a trading port since the Middle Ages, and as of the 20th Century, it has become a beach attraction on the "Riva Bella". Nearby attractions include museums and historical sites, as well as golf courses and guided tours.
