Seogwipo City is located on the south side of Jeju Island in South Korea. It's most prominent landmark is Mt. Halla, but there is also a small urban centre and various coastal villages in the area. The coastline varies from beachside, to glittering hotel grounds, to dark caves and beautiful waterfalls. Some notable waterfalls include Cheonjiyeon, Cheonjeyeon, and Jeongbang. Travelers can go scuba diving, take a submarine tour to a depth of 40 meters below the surface, or visit Jeju Water World with a short bus ride from the main bus terminal. Jungmun Resort is also just a short distance away.
