This sleepy town in the Jiangxi Province, once the premier port for porcelain and tea trade, is the jumping-off point for a visit to the mountain resort of Lushan. Tour the lush gardens of the ancient Nengren Si. Jiujiang's crunchy, sweet tea biscuits -- made from tea oil, sesame and orange osmanthus flowers -- originated in the 12th-century Song Dynasty and are a unique souvenir.
