On September 4, we began an unforgettable voyage across Northern Europe aboard the beautiful Norwegian Prima. Scaling the coasts of Iceland and Norway before rounding out the adventure in the Netherlands and Belgium, this 9-night trip was one for the books.

Before departing from Reykjavik, Julie G. of Baroda, MI and Karen G. from Dallas, TX explored the famed Golden Circle, featuring stops at Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss Falls and the incredible Kerid Crater. Debbie L. of Venice, FL and Julie J. from Jensen Beach, FL captured breathtaking photos of the Northern Lights to remember the experience.

In Isafjordur, Iceland, Ann H. from Waxahachie, TX led a group of Singles on a hike to Dynjandi waterfalls, known for its dramatic seven tiers of cascading waters. After a day of exploration, we enjoyed a Singles Night Out at the theater for Bossa Nova Beat -- a high-energy show, designed to immerse you in the vibrant Latin American nightlife.

Heading east to Akureyri, we ventured to Godafoss Waterfall before exploring the city's beautiful botanical gardens. Spanning almost 90 feet wide and 36 feet high, Godafoss is one of Iceland's most dramatic and photographed sites!

After a day of relaxation at sea, we hit the town of Alesund, known as one of the most beautiful cities in Norway. Frank G. from Calabash, NC enjoyed a hike up to Fjellstua Viewpoint to take in the stunning panoramic scenes. We can't wait to see the photos he took!

In Geiranger, Gidget E. and Jody B. from The Villages, FL enjoyed a scenic drive and audio tour of the village and its storied fjords. That evening, the whole crew enjoyed a lively Fire & Ice mixer in the ship's Observation Lounge -- a stunning space on Deck 17 featuring 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows.

The quaint village of Flam was our final stop in Norway, and it did not disappoint. Ray R. from Laguna Woods, CA and Connie G. from Garland, TX took the famous Flam Railway, listening to local folk songs and finding historic gnome statues along the way. Back on board, the Elton John tribute show was a hit amongst our sailors!

High winds forced us to detour past Amsterdam, but we made the best of the bonus sea day with a mini golf tournament. Billy N. from Bolingbrook, IL even hit a hole-in-one! Maybe we'll have to take another trip to Amsterdam...

Zeebrugge, our final port, brought us mouth-watering chocolates and delicious fries. Notice how I am refraining from calling them "French fries" -- this popular snack was invented here in Belgium, not France! With local provisions in hand, we said "Cheers!" to a wonderful journey and all the memories made!
