Thinking about sailing on a Vacations To Go singles cruise but don't know what to expect? We have a variety of private activities and you can choose your participation level. We offer scavenger hunts, pool hangouts, private team games and themed cocktail parties, plus a single mingle dining every night! Take a look at an example of our private activities schedule below.

On March 1, our Vacations To Go singles boarded our first-ever Virgin Voyages cruise on the Scarlet Lady. This adults-only, 5-night adventure stopped in Puerto Plata and Bimini.

As we left Miami, our singles indulged in delicious canapés and cocktails during our private cocktail party at The Athletic Club Bar. At the very top of the boat, we were graced with the city's sunset. That night, Virgin hosted a ship-wide pajama party under the stars where everyone partied on the pool deck in their loungewear. Ralph "Cappy" C. from Horn Lake, MS even brought a bottle of champagne to share as we danced the night away.

We kicked off our first sea day with breakfast in the Galley. Unlike traditional cruise buffets, the Scarlet Lady allows you to order at a counter, sit down or do takeaway. A wacky photo scavenger hunt was next on our schedule. John S. from Phoenixville, PA, Sue Glasscock from Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Christian B. from Coral Springs, FL raced all over the ship and swept the competition! Some of our favorite photos were singles sprawled out on The Net! Located on Deck 16, this suspended catamaran net will have you feeling like you're floating on a cloud.

Did you know that the Scarlet Lady has a tattoo parlor onboard? Squid Ink is the first-ever tattoo studio at sea and industry-famous tattoo artists ink passengers daily. Our very own Bobby M. from Clemmons, NC knows the parlor well and he got not one but TWO Star Wars tattoos!

As we docked in clear-skied Puerto Plata, we readied for our private Highlights of Puerto Plata city tour. Our first stop at Umbrella Street, known for its colorful umbrella shades, was a bucket list item for Antone J. from Texas City, TX. Next, Tammy Y. from Manassas, VA spotted a vendor selling jewelry on Paseo de Dona Blanca, another famous spot in Puerto Plata where the entire walkway is painted in solid pink. We ended our tour with a stop at Golden Beach where we were served a delicious lunch and enjoyed some time soaking up the sun before heading back to the ship.

Back onboard, we painted the town red at Virgin Voyages' Scarlet Night -- a massive ship-wide event where the theme is... you guessed it... red! As the sun goes down, the ship's lighting changes to a calming hue of red, crew and entertainment staff change into red and guests are highly encouraged to do the same. Of course, we informed our group of this in advance and Paula K. from Treasure Island, FL arrived in a beautiful floor-length red gown while Christian M. and Jacob S. from Freetown, IN were decked out in their red cowboy hats adorned in feathers. The party began with a performance explaining the history behind Scarlet Night. Later, the halls are filled with endless entertainment from jugglers and guitar players to acrobats and a giant inflatable octopus. Not to mention the famous pool deck dance party!

At our final stop in Bimini, Bahamas, we started with public trollies over to Virgin's private resort, The Beach Club. With two massive pools, a white sand beach, and a view of the ship that looks like it came straight from a postcard, you can't help but fall in love with this gorgeous island.

Diane D. from Holiday, FL kicked things off with a carafe of mimosas. Around 1pm, the pool was filled with beach balls and floats while the DJ spun the discs, and the ship's dancers came out to perform. We even had a couple of mermaids join us in the pool! While a majority of our singles splashed around in the safe waters of the resort pools, Carolyn B. from Seminole, FL, Gary E. from Tierra Verde, FL, Floyd L. from Orlando, FL, and Mike P. from Herndon, VA, went on a very different adventure -- scuba diving with hammerhead sharks! Bimini is known for hammerheads and the group shared their exciting encounter with a 16-foot hammerhead!
