Dear Vacations To Go Singles Customer,

On November 16, the Vacations To Go Singles crew began a 9-night Eastern Caribbean retreat aboard the Celebrity Eclipse, making stops in Grand Turk, Puerto Plata, Antigua, St. Thomas and St. Maarten.

We enjoyed a beautiful Fort Lauderdale sunset during our Captain's Hat Sail Away party -- a now signature event enjoyed by all and the perfect opportunity for veteran and new sailors to meet!

Russell B. from Alexandria, VA made the formal night very memorable when he proposed to Sherri W. from Powhatan, VA! Congratulations Russ and Sherri!

Our first stop was Grand Turk. We enjoyed relaxing and getting to know each other on the soft sand beaches and wading in the ocean. After getting some sun, Mariann A. from Newton, CT, Jodi P. from Tampa, FL and Ann H. from Waxahachie, TX decided to rent a golf cart and explore the island. That evening, sailors got all dolled up for a roaring '20s-themed cocktail party.

Next up was Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. We took a fan-favorite guided tour through the city, featuring the picturesque Umbrella Street. Joy K. from Frederick, MD and Billie G. from The Villages, FL indulged in some empanadas and locally sourced coffee. After a fun stop at Golden Beach, we returned to the ship to get ready to travel back in time to the 1950s for a Grease-themed bash. Our singles donned their finest leather jackets, poodle skirts and of course, dancing shoes!

In Antigua, we spent the day at Fryes Beach taking in the views with a delicious island lunch. Many took advantage of the beach's activities, including Nancy M. from Raleigh, NC who went solo-kayaking for the first time and Hulya I. from Woodcliff Lake, NJ who made friends with lots of fish!

Our time in St. Thomas took us below the water's surface. We commandeered a sailboat to Brewer's Bay for snorkeling and the chance to swim with sea turtles! Tiffany P. from Orlando, FL had the time of her life befriending many turtles. Making the day even more memorable, the Celebrity Eclipse crew surprised us with the opportunity to have our cocktail party on the ship's helipad! The stunning island views and golden sunset were the cherry on top.

We used all our senses to explore St. Maarten as we took an awesome tour of Topper's Rum factory. In the test kitchen, John K. from The Villages, FL, Paul B. from Wapato, WA and Mark W. from Oxfordshire, U.K. led a cooking demonstration, making delicious chicken and dessert for all to try. This was the perfect way for Judy M. from The Villages, FL to celebrate a milestone birthday!

Our fan-favorite event, Battle of the Sexes, had a twist this sailing -- the men brought home the victory! Terri-Lee S. from Kitchener, ON led the ladies in a strong fight, but John K. and the men ultimately prevailed.
