To see discounted cruises that visit or depart from this port, use the Find a Bargain box on the left.

The Antarctic Circle is one of Earth's major lines of latitude, located at approximately 66°33′ south of the Equator. It marks the northern boundary of the Antarctic region. South of this line, there is at least one day each year when the sun does not set (midnight sun) in summer, and at least one day when it does not rise (polar night) in winter. The region within the Antarctic Circle is dominated by Antarctica's ice-covered continent, extreme cold, and powerful winds. It is uninhabited except for temporary scientific research stations operated by various countries.
