According to legend, an ogre once inhabited a castle where the city of Antwerp now stands. You can learn about the history of Antwerp in tapestry in the 16th-century own hall. The waterfront is huge and offers delightful promenades. Visit the Maritime Museum and the Cathedral of Notre Dame, Belgium's largest Gothic building.
