Cesme is a popular resort destination for many holiday travelers. It is a very compact town, making it highly accessible to travelers, as it can largely be explored on foot. The area's dominating feature is Cesme Castle, a beautiful piece of historic architecture. Large Mediterranean-style homes populate the streets, and yachts rest in Cesme marina. Restaurant for both fine dining and budget meals are available. Just a few miles east is Ilica, another resort destination famous for its thermal springs.
