Ferrol is a maritime city located in Galicia. Once a small fishing port, this town is now a major naval shipbuilding center and historical site. There are plenty of roads connecting Ferrol to other locations by motor and train, so visitors wanting to take a day trip elsewhere will have multiple options. Places to visit in town include the ship-yard and naval base, the square in the city center, and the Castillo de San Felipe found just outside Ferrol.
