Fort San Lorenzo is a historic Spanish fortress at the mouth of the Chagres River on Panama's Caribbean coast. Built in the late 16th century, it was part of a defensive network protecting colonial trade routes and is now included in a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visitors can walk through stone fortifications, view cannons, and take in elevated views over the river and coastline. Interpretive signage provides context on its military and historical role.
