Gros Morne National Park is UNESCO World Heritage site that protects an area of breathtaking landscapes, rural Newfoundland culture and unique geological wonders. The park is located in the Long Range mountains and its namesake mountain, Gros Morne, is the second highest point in Newfoundland at 2,644 feet. It is home to several wildlife species including caribou, black bears, Arctic foxes, red squirrels, lynxes, river otters and, most notably, moose.
