Inle is the second largest lake in Myanmar. It is surrounded by marshes and floating gardens, with Buddhist temples and stilt-houses rising out of the water. Travelers will find many traditional crafts in the villages, including silversmithing, which is a big part of the local economy. There is also a local silk workshop and markets full of various hand-made goods to explore.
