Visitors can witness one of the most unusual and significant tidal movements in the world at Montgomery Reef. Upon arriving at the reef, it seems that the ship has dropped anchor in the middle of the ocean. As the tide drops,the reef appears to rise out of the ocean as white water rapids rage off of the reef and into the waiting river. It is a perfect spot to watch sea turtles, sandpipers, and reef sharks feast on the sea life of the reef.
