Peter Bay, named in honor of Peter I the Great, is located off the coast of Vladivostok on the Muravyov-Amursky Peninsula. The shores of the bay are surrounded by reefs, and the southern coastlines are rocky. The inland area from Peter Bay is mountainous and covered in a forest of oak trees.
