Yeosu is located on the southern coast of Korea and includes the Yeosu peninsula as well as 317 islands. It is a city of rich history, where the headquarters of the South Jeolla Province Navy Base was located. Tourist attractions include Manseongri Beach, with its volcanic black sand; Dolsan Bridge, which has colorful changing lights and connects downtown with Dolsan Island; and the Big-O Show, which features an ocean fountain event and hologram show.
