Mystery Island, Vanuatu

This small island rests at the south end of Vanuatu and is uninhabited and completely free of electricity, running water, roads, and shops. Called Inyeug by locals, Mystery Island is a destination for vacationers to come and enjoy undisturbed, natural beauty. When cruise ships make port, a friendly crowd from Tanna comes over to sell seashells and trinkets to the passengers. While on the island, be sure to walk by the old World War II landing strip, relax on the golden beaches, listen to music played by a band of locals, or hit the water for a snorkeling adventure.
